(This should be on the website of Citizens for Safe Cycling, but for some reason, despite it being small enough, the server refuses the file, even though we host more PDF files on the website.  I will host the report here for now, and once I figured out the technical issues, I ‘ll put in on the website too.)

This is the third time we put the report together and we had more volunteers than ever involved. That is great news, as it is a lot of work. The report takes about four months to complete. As Schuyler and her team are getting more efficient, we are able to get the report out faster. It was presented at our Spring.Bike.Ottawa event, that drew about 75 people, despite a snow storm. Kudos for everyone who came out.

This 2014 report is chock full of information again. From stats to events, from councillors quotes to great pictures, from Top 10 reviews and Top 10 recommendations, all is in there, although we don’t claim we have covered it all. We think though that it  paints a great picture of cycling in Ottawa, with the emphasis on utilitarian cycling.

  1. I have read a lot about Ottawa and the people living there, especially about how those people enjoy nature love, landscaping and love for sports. I am sure this significant number is a result of that zeal :). After all cycling is so much fun!
