Reading Time: 7 minutes A description of a bike ride from Kanata to Ottawa's Nepean, south of the Experimental Farm near Baseline. Nearly the entire route goes over bike lanes (10% and Multi Use Pathways (80). IT is not the shortest route, but a very safe one. You can take a Rack and Roll bus back from Ottawa.

Hans on the Bike is not a very competitive cyclist; most of the time he is cycling around town doing errands or guiding tourists while waving to friends.

As a bicycle tour guide, he hears tons of great feed back from people from all over the world. Even from the Dutch! This is encouraging.

Ms. Hans on the Bike cycles too and is often the voluntold for Hans’ pictures. She famously declared she was not going to bike below +10C but lowered the treshold to -10C over time.
