


Here are two pictures I took within minutes of eachother. The first one is a picture of the Queensway (taken at the on ramp at Rochester), that ‘Freeway’ that runs through the heart of Ottawa, just south of downtown. The traffic crawls if the drivers are lucky and doesn’t move at all quite often. Then I turned the camera into my cycling direction on Rochester (facing North, direction Dow’s Lake, with NRCAN buildings on the left side past the bridge over Rochester and there is not a car in sight. See: commuting on a bike and living with 8-10 km of your work has so many advantages….!
