2016 Haagse hofjes almshouses – Hans Moor 2
Brouwershofje: established in 1472. Women who could not longer work in one of the 100 breweries were allowed to live here. The hofje was built with money bequeathed by Jacob Huyge Roeperszoon and his sister. They bequeathed their possessions to the Haarlem Brewers Guilt.
