Hans on the Bike writes about cycling in the Ottawa-Gatineau National Capital Region in Canada. Stay up to date with cycling developments in this bike friendly city with hundreds of kilometres of pathways.

Hans on the Bike is not a very competitive cyclist; most of the time he is cycling around town doing errands or guiding tourists while waving to friends.

As a bicycle tour guide, he hears tons of great feed back from people from all over the world. Even from the Dutch! This is encouraging.

Ms. Hans on the Bike cycles too and is often the voluntold for Hans’ pictures. She famously declared she was not going to bike below +10C but lowered the treshold to -10C over time.
