A 30 km cycling loop in Orléans (Ontario)

Reading Time: 6 minutesEarly September, Karen and I finally made it to Orléans (in Ontario). We cycled a 30 km loop with a short 5 km side tour to Petrie Island, mostly on pathways, and a bit on residential roads. Orléans could use more cycling infrastructure though as there are missing links. Hopefully with the arrival of LRT more cycling infrastructure will be added.

Hans on the Bike is not a very competitive cyclist; most of the time he is cycling around town doing errands or guiding tourists while waving to friends.

As a bicycle tour guide, he hears tons of great feed back from people from all over the world. Even from the Dutch! This is encouraging.

Ms. Hans on the Bike cycles too and is often the voluntold for Hans’ pictures. She famously declared she was not going to bike below +10C but lowered the treshold to -10C over time.
